I am a 38 year old male and I have been taking 200-300mg of Buprion for 4 months. It is the 4th anti-depressant I have been on since last August. I have put on 60 lbs in the past year and have done just about everything I can to lose weight and cannot get past 255. This time last year I was losing weight just from diet and exercise and now nothing works. I am not happy being so overweight but I know I need the meds. Can anyone help?

That is suppose to be the only med you dont gain weight on, so it may not be welbutrin. Are you sure now your depression is under control you may be eating more The other meds before welbutrin may be the cause,

I am thinking that Wellbutrin is not a cause of weight gain either.
