I am going to start up on medication again, and in the past I was on Zoloft and used Seroquel as prescribed by my psychiatrist to ease the anxiety and rage while adjusting to the Zoloft. Was on Zoloft generic for almost four years, just on Seroquel for the first several months of adjustment. Since Seroquel's patent just expired literally days ago, does that mean that the generic is now already available? I am in the U.S., when my doctor prescribes my two medications, will the Seroquel generic already be available at any pharmacy? Sertraline is obviously common, but what about Quetiapine (Seroquel)? Or do I still have to ask him for an alternative drug instead of the Seroquel. I plan to start on medication tonight...
