I have just learned that My Medicare Part D program will cover my Cybalta med. BUT won't cover my Wellbutrin med. This is getting ridiculous already. I knew it wouldn't make much sense. Who's running things? Southpark characters? LOL Seriously tho!!

And privatizing Social Security is going to be a good idea because ... ?

I'm sorry you're having this trouble, although frankly I'm not surprised that there are problems. I am surprised, though, that hte newer medication is covered, but not the older one. Which formulation of Wellbutrin are you taking? That might be the trouble, in which case switching to another formulation might get you coverage.

And depending on your financial situation and your relationship with your doctor, you may qualify for one of the programs for free or cheap meds. Needymeds.com has information about those programs.

Sorry you're having trouble, and good luck.

Thanks!! The med is Wellbutrin XL 300 mg. tabs!
Thank goodness for thrift stores in my neighborhood..or I would b walking around in sheets. Also.. they won't cover my xanax or clonazapam. How goofy is this??I will be dropping the Medicaid as it is costing me 519.00 per month for med. coverage. Ridiculous huh??Grrrrr(Medicare Part D)

I just posted a thread in here about other insurance coverage that I have found instead of the part D that covers many more meds.....I would suggest that if part D doesn't cover your med like it didn't cover mine ($900/month for fentynal for my migraines).

It would be a good idea if you look around for another insurance coverage like the one I found before the end date (I think sometime in April)....other wise you have to pay higher for the monthly fees.

If you want, I can PM you the information as to who the insurance company (think it is unethical to tell what Company it is in a general post like this). However there are many others like them.

Your welcome.....I also added somemore information in the post I just made under. I wasn't sure how much business information is allowed in the general posts. Like I said in my post, the program is under Prescription Pathways.....rest of the information I just posted....& have the phone # for them if anyone needs it. I am not sure what states that cover under but probably most....& have quite a list of meds they cover too.

Hope you can find the same kind of help,
Debbie
