Hi,
I have just been prescribed Zispin for depression. I have have read some really bad things about this drug. Like the side-affects; weight gain, low blood pressure, nausea, fever, nightmares(one of the reasons I am depressed) the list goes on... Has anyone had any experience with this drug? Previously I have been on Cymbalta and lexapro both made me more depressed and dizzy. |

Hi freefall, that is correct it dissolves on your tongue! No need for water!:-) I am in Ireland, it doesn't seem to be a popular both depressant hence why no one has heard of it! My doctor said it will help me sleep more than anything, I am a bit concerned about the drowsiness as I have to concentrate in work on small details. You are absolutely right in that everyone reacts differently to drugs and I think I am not going to take these as the risks are too high! I have been looking up st johns wort and there are virtually no side effects to those! Only problem is they are banned in Ireland but can easily order them online! I have a follow us appointment with doctor next week but I don't want to go because I haven't and won't take them! A doctor can't make you take them right?

Ireland is indeed a strange country with lots of rediculous laws- epsecially regarding medicines. We can't buy anymore than 12 paracetomal(or any headache tablets in one day) and if you have a cold and wish to buy cough medicine and lemsip they won't allow it as it is a risk of suicide if you take too many. If you ask me it is making people suffer unnecessarily.
Thank you again for all you help Freefall its is greatly appreciated and I hope you have a lovely weekend ![]() |
