Anyone that is taking Lexapro--have you experienced any jaw problems? I seem to be having some jaw-clenching and shift, especially at night.
How do you deal with this?

I don't have any problems on Lexapro, but I had the jaw clenching on Wellbutrin, along with other really unpleasant side effects. I had to stop it. Jaw problems on Lexapro?

I now take Lexapro and I've never experienced any type of jaw side effects. Everybodies side affects can be different. I suggest telling your doc about that.

You can get a mouthguard from a dentist. At least it will save you from damaging your teeth. Sometimes, this side effect just doesn't go away, over time. If it seems to be persistent, and it bugs you enough, you should talk to your doctor about switching to a different drug.

I grind my teeth at night. That's what my dentist told me. I've been taking an SSRI for 6 years on and off. I've read that teeth grinding can be a side effect of SSRI's. I don't know if my grinding is related to the SSRI I now take, but you should really get a nightguard to prevent damage to your teeth. I've worn my molars down.
