I'm taking Cilexa/citalopram, first time taking anti-depressants and I feel wired, shaky and out of it, and I randomly start feeling tired every so often. Is this normal for the beginning stage? Will I get used to it? I'm not really enjoying how I feel.

Everyone experiences different side effects in the beginning with new meds. I find that whenever I've started a new med, the side effects went away within 2 weeks.

Good luck.

I agree with splitimage, it takes some time for your body to adjust. I was on celexa before and experienced those side effects initially among a few others. They went away eventually. If you're really concerned it's best to talk with your doctor about it
Good luck!

It is quite common. If it is too severe, ask to be started on a lower dosage. Things like that usually go away. All kinds of side effects might not go away but you don't know until you tried.

Give it at least 2 weeks. Side effect like the ones you are mentioning are very normal at the start of a new med and usually will go away. Play around with the time of day you take it to see if that helps. Good luck, it does get better.
