Hey how is this stuff working for you if it is? I can't tell anything definitive yet. He raised my dose to 75 mgs 3x daily yesterday so I guess it is still a wait and see..My medicaid doesn't like to pay for it I guess so he just mailed me some more samples... Wouldn't that just figure, SSI not paying for a drug that might help me get a life..... ???? How is it doing for you??

Hey!

Well, I just had a follow-up with dr and it helped really well with the MILD nerve pain I had going down arm from neck. It helped ALOT there. In fact, it's next to gone.

However, it hasn't helped much yet with the trigeminal neuralgia. I can say that the bad flares seem to be less, but that could be due to circumstance. See, spring is usually VERY difficult for me with pain because my sinus swells due to allergies. However, this year with keeping little man I get out as much, soooo I don't know if it's situational or med help, ya know? I'm thinking it's situational because I still have the constant pain there.

Does it make you like REALLY tired?

KD

Hi Kimmy !! glad to hear it is helping you a little bit anyhow...it makes me sleepy when I take it at the same time as my morphine, I have to figure out how to do this three times aday along with that one three times a day....
I too am uncertain as to how much is situation with me, I have noticed though that I am not taking as many of the hydrocodone as I was to get through the extra pain of the day.... and that is good. My biggest concern is that I have an issue with my swelling, and now I don't know if that is worse because of the meds or the weather or ? I know that is one of the side effects so that concerns me a little bit. He sent two more sample bottles should last about 20 days I think and maybe by then I will, I hope, have a better handle on this. I hate trying new drugs for the pain.. the morphine works alright but he doesn't want to up the dose and turn me into a zombie and I appreciate that.
Stay in touch with me and let me know how you are doing please? I really would like to know.. I sure do hope it helps us both...(((((Kimmy)))))
