lyrica

Hey everyone does anyone know why my doc would og gave me lyrica for lack of sleep and anxiety I donot have shingles I am not diabetic and never complained of pain?

NO missy I don't. I also just started this drug recently though my is for pain relief WE hope.... You really need to ask him, there are always other reasons they give out drugs, but in my readings on this I don't recall anything being said that it would help with anxiety. I know it can make you a little sleepy...................
call him/her and ask... I know it is very expensive and it seems to be the new drug to push.. mine even sent more samples to me because I receive SSI disability and that is too similar to welfare and they apparently don't like to pay for this drug... geez you know what do they want. I am already on morphine and codeine for the humps, but if something that isn't as addictive or bad for my liver being the aceptemetaphine in the codeine product. Why is this government so ridiculous? Why do I get penalized for having been a stay at home mom so I never had enough work hours to get regular social security..... so now I have to live within poverty level or get no help... nothing like the great usof a i guess. Sorry ventng on your thread so uncool. Anyhow please ask your doc why he want s you to take it, doesn't make sense to me....
