Welcome to the forum! I'm sure that you'll find there is a great support network here and people are very friendly.

So tell me about the meds you 've been on - dosages? length of time on the med, etc? Did you have problems with side effects, etc? What about this new doctor - have you communicated to him/her that it's difficult to really stay focused during appointments because of what you perceive is going on around you in the room?

Are you currently taking any meds? Perhaps if you list the meds you're taking I - or someone on the board could help you out better?

Anyway - hang in there - !

Jerry

I have had the same problem. My doctor is going to try one or two of the older antipsychotics and then its clozapine as a last ditch effort.

Welcome to PC ali! Sorry to hear you suffer with that disorder. finding the right meds schizophenia I don't know if something like this would help you... but I use a CD (it's a mix of what you might think of as futuristic starwars melodies) designed to take the brain into delta wave. I use it to help me calm, and fall asleep.

I don't have schizophrenia, but I do have terrible reactions to all the antidepressants, so I understand that frustration! TC
