Look up "anhedonia" lol you'll be pretty damn surprised to find out how accurately is describes what you (and I and many others) are feeling.

If you go to a psychiatrist, they are going to label it depression or major depressive disorder, and give you an SSRI (aka antidepressant). Sometimes these help a bit, but with my experience with a few of them, they absolutely destroy everything that you like about yourself and take away what little you feel is left of "you".

If you're interested in some other approaches to handling it, please feel free to PM me

SSRI's (aka anti-depressants) are what are most often prescribed for this issue because a pdoc (psychiatrist) will just label it as depression.

If you want some alternatives to medication, it gets quite a bit more complicated. I have yet to really figure it out. I ended up coming to terms with my new mentality and feelings after fighting the feeling for years.

I can give you my own advice, if you'd like, just PM me and I'd be glad to help

You might want to go to your family doctor have a health screening. Checking for deficiencies in hormones or vitamins is a good place to start.
