I want to try something besides effexor and I saw this, has anyone tried it, been on it for awhile and what do you think?? Side Affects??

i didnt have side effects, but it didnt really work for me. but then again.. nothing much works for me.. well except prozac

Hi there, I was on Cymbalta earlier this year. I can tell you this...it made me very sick for the first three or four days of taking it! I was sick to my stomach and had a severe headache. When I called the doctor's office on Monday, they apologized for forgetting to tell me that it could make me sick for the first few days. The doctor told me that it is a wonderful drug if you can get past the first few days and asked me to try to stick it out. I stuck with it, but the Cymbalta didn't help me at all, because I had been misdiagnosed. In other words, I stuck with it through all of the side effects for no reason lol.

BTW If the effexor is working for you, stick with it..it's one of the better ones, imo.

I didn't do well with cymbalta...but I was taking it for seizure, pain etc..

This drug has been discussed, if you don't receive many replies, try an advanced search to pull up the old thread where we thrashed the drug LOL TC!
