For me, Buspar was mild with rather limited side effects. It sounds like you are on a good combo. Good Luck,

Well I have not slept good the past 2 days and today I started taking the buspar but it seems to be making me more calm, maybe a little irritable? But that's I bet because of lack of sleep. I was wondering what side effects to expect?

I'm on Buspar for GAD, and it does make me calmer. On day 1 I had dizziness but it went away after I ate, so now I take my 3 doses daily on a full rather than empty stomach. I have no other side effects.

Good luck!

I take 15mg 3x a day and it works well for overall anxiety. However if I have a sudden onset panic attack, the only thing that helps is Xanax. Just make sure you don't stop taking it cold turkey. I ran out once and it was a horrible feeling. All in all, it has really helped.
Good luck
