after being on cymbalta for a few years which I believe almost killed me. (I wish)
i am now on prozac again with abilify. how long till I get the effects of prozac?

I'm on 20mg a day of prozac and I found by the 2nd week I felt the gloom that had been hanging over my head lifting. I've been on it for about 3 months now and I am feeling pretty good.

I was on Prozac for many weeks in the early 1990s. I never noticed that it had any effect on me. I attribute this to my problems not being due to lack of medications, but to my real history, which no one was paying attention to. That would have had the effect, if I let it, of increasing my depression. So I decided I would have to tough it out on my own, which I did.

my story is the same. 1990s. heres the magic pill that didnt do anything, have a nice day.

Of course the doctor assured me stopping it was no problem and thats probably when I ran amuck. Seriously @?!#ed things up.
