My mother who takes Lexapro for OCD recently added Welbutrin for depression. Is it safe to take both of these at once? Thanks for your attention.

What does her doctor say about it.... did he prescribe both the medicine for her to take? - If YES, then I would say it is safe.... remembering that everyone is different and side effects can be different as well.

I would think that the same doctor scripting both knows... and I do know of many doctors having ppl take more than one "antidepressant" for various reasons... hopefully Jerry will be 'round soon to enlighten us all!
