I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced anxiety as a side effect of Geodon. I've been taking Geodon since December and, while I've experienced anxiety in the past, I haven't experienced it this bad or for this long. It's pretty pervasive. I have it every day and I usually can't pinpoint the source (though I can always find things to be anxious about, they aren't things I would normally have been anxious about in the past). I have read that anxiety is a possible side effect and am just wondering if anyone on here has any personal experience with this.

Well yea.. it sort of started with being tired and restless (akathisia) but progressed into full blown daily panic attacks. It was no fun at all.

I take geodon. I take it before I go to bed. It only induces panic attacks if I have to wake up early and there is lack of sleep. If I get a good night's rest I won't have the panic attack side effect of the geodon. But yes, my geodon induces panic attacks. I noticed when I went off the geodon recently I didn't have any panic attacks at all and I didn't need as much sleep. But I went back on the geodon because I was starting to have paranoid/suicidal thoughts again.
