I am having bp breakthrough symptoms. I was already on two mood stabilizers, lithium and trileptal and also welbutrin and fanapt. But guess what, my doc added lamictal. Do I really need 3 mood stabilizers and an antidepressant?

I haven't heard of three MS being used.
I take two b/c I was having break through
symptoms too. You should post this question
in the BP forum, to get more feedback.

It sounds like a lot of meds. Ideally you should try find one mood stabilizer that works and maybe adjust the dosage until you get to that stable spot
