After three years without psych meds, the depression and rumination just got to be too much so I've gone back on teh pills. Today is my first day on a new one for me, Cymbalta. Just 20 mg — I'm sensitive to meds — but that ol' feeling is back. Dizzy, spacey, sleepy, yawny. I hope it works this time. Especially because the prescription cost me a small fortune.

I'm in the same boat! Just started taking Prozac (20mg) last week after two years without taking meds

Yeah, I'm beginning to feel like an old hand at this. Had a nap (well, sort of) and now the buzz is settling into slight jitters with that funny jaw feeling. How is Prozac going for you? I took that back in 2008.

Not too bad. I've taken it once before. Back on it again because I can't bare the thought of starting over with something new. It's only been a week and a half. Been feeling dizzy, have dry mouth and occasional bouts of constipation (ugh) and insomnia.

How's Cymbalta treating ya?

Really terrible insomnia last night. The kind where you lie awake for hours with a muddled head. I'm reconsidering my decision.

Me too. Last night I literally only got two hours of sleep. It takes forever to fall asleep. Starting to wonder if I should start taking Ambien again.

Nope you definitely were not. We should have hung out on the forums and kept each other company last night!
