What I mean is hearing voices. I'll be getting off geodon for seroquel in about 2 weeks and I will be asking my doc about it but was just curious if anyone here uses it for voices. I was on seroquel 3 years ago and then the voices came toward the end and was taken off of it. One thing that could have been done is simply increase the dosage (I was on 45mgs) but that was not done unfortunately and now I want so badly to go back to it I can't wait.

I am on seroquel now at very high doses for voices , I am on 400mg at night and 200mg in the morning and again in the afternoon, it makes u too tired to have voices I think. I am getting ready to ask for lower dosing.

45 mg is too low for voices, for sure give it a second try at something in the hundreds of mg. I was only on it for two days because I had a reaction but its good for most people. It was the first thing my pdoc tried.

Yeah I can imagine you might as well take something like invega or geodon which don't sedate but I want be on seroquel anyway (because it didn't cause me erectile dysfunction) but take it only at night. hmm I wonder what my dose is going to be, I wouldn't mind a high dose it might be necessary.

That dose was given to me when I was bi polar without voices but yeah that is a low dose, hope I get a high enough dose to manage the voices. I'll make sure to get it.

Must be nice to have something like that around considering your case, hope it works for you on a regular basis.

I have visual hallucinations and I suspect the geodon for this, but in the dark I hallucinate. Initially I didn't think much about my diagnosis that is the terms first BP didn't know what to make of it I was pretty ignorant but in retrospect I think I was a little bit BP not full blow episodes for the most part I have had some incidences that's all. And then the voices came along and I came across the new term but really didn't think much of it was just glad to leave the hospital although I did glance through the info sheet on this condition that they gave. Later on I read more about SA and watched videos on youtube so its quite interesting > the evolution and I believe in it to a fair deal and it seemed pretty accurate for me. But nowadays I'm just normal because of the meds but my lifee is still turned upside down due to the sexual side effects its not a good feeling at all it just stays with you all day long and I can't wait to get rid of this problem. I had quite a lot of good time during my seroquel days I can't wait to get back to that medication! It is so chill I swear I loved it.

I already have the stuff it works pretty good. Yes I have tried communicating with them, I do try to observe what they are doing and stuff and they can have this relaxing effect on me but I like to ignore them as well just look away or close my eyes, they used to be a lot more interesting than they are now. Even with my eyes closed I see things.

I'm on it for voices, 500mg and it's doing nothing except making me fat

Are you sure you meant 45mg and not 450mg?? I only know of 25mg and 50mg tablets for low doses.

I remember it being a low dose (75?) I wonder what it will be now but it better be up there and I'm gonna make sure he knows that its for voices. I'm sorry about the weight gain I see you are mad I on the other hand am skinny and would like to weigh atleast go up to 160 so its a welcome for me. I've never had anything like 450 I wouldn't mind it though.

I'm on 600mg Seroquel IR at night for auditory and visual hallucinations. It does the trick for the most part, I usually get my hallucinations around bedtime or in the morning and Seroquel just knocks me out cold so I don't deal with them.

In the hospital I was given 50mg at night and 25mg of seroquel in the morning. All I think it did was piss off the voices until my doctor put me on 2mg of risperidone and now the voices are basically gone. I am asking for the seroquel back on tuesday because it was helping with my agitation and irritability so I need to be more relaxed.
