UGH generic now.......I've been on wellbutrin for 7 weeks, for possible bipolar. Wellbutrin is mellowing me out, I haven't had mania/hypomania in the last 30 days. I'm sleeping way more than 2-3 hours a night. I feel calm, still depressed though. pdoc bumped me up yesterday, what to expect?
when paxil kicked in I felt it, wellburtin is suppose to be a stimulant and it's not stimulating me. No energy, no focus, nothing? I'm depressed like 90% of the year. Pdoc told me I could "possibly" be bipolar, idk what my official dx is. I'll find out at the end of this month. |

Wellbutrin helped my depression, but it took more than six weeks to find the right dose.
I just like to remind you that everyone's body reacts differently to medications, what I experience may be different from you. Eventually, the side effects of anxiety diminished as the dosage was fine tuned. I just found that Wellbutrin, for me, disturbed my sleep, so I had to take it in the morning. I used have 5 cigs/day, now, I don't need any cigs.

Normally they don't prescribe anti-ds alone for bipolar disorder.
You should request blood work. It may help you discover potential diet changes or vitamin definencies. Thyroid issues can lead to depression and tiredness as could lack of vitamin d. Exhausting the physical issues can help you focus on the psychological so you know your taking medication for the specific problem despite making changes. |

wellbutrin doesn't affect serotonin , it's not an SSRI. she did blood work the first visit. I'm getting a new pdoc at the end of the month, I'm moving. |

I just started bupropion 100mg 2xs a day on Friday. Today I am feeling a bit shakey. I am not literally shaking, just feel a bit light headed. I have noticed that it may be a side effect, but could anyone tell me if this is something that will subside with time or if it is something I need to contact my doctor about? I have also had the side effect of feeling warm and increased sweating.
