Is it safe to take these at the same time?

There's nothing inherently dangerous about combining the two, but as both can be stimulating, you may find that there are additive effects which make the combination unpleasant. I'd take only the lowest possible dose of the tyrosine compound, and be wary of adverse effects. Only increase the dose as tolerated, up to the recommended daily amount.
