My Zoloft dosage has been increased from 100mg to 125 mg. Lately I've been having troubles finding the words I'm trying to say, and my tongue seems to trip over itself when I'm talking. It's almost like I'm drunk or mentally slow, and it's embarrassing. Is this normal, and how long will it last?

It can last , the med is slowing your brain functions like your drunk ie totally relaxes and dizzy. usually happens when on benzo,s.

I think I just get like that just from depression a bit sometimes, which can suck but at least it means i am trying to talk a lot.

Yikes.... I'm going from 50mg to 100mg on Monday. And I'm pretty slowed up as it is

That may well be a good thing, 50MG is the starter dose so you may be in limbo at the moment , not enough to help you, but enough to make you feel tired . Most doctors go to 100mg has a routine then if to much come down, to little then go up. Its like any med if your not taking enough you don't feel better .

I really am still battling with depression, hence the increase. I take it at night and am hoping the sedation is minimal.
And of course no weight gain....
