I have been on Abilify for about a month and get weak when I stand. I often have to sit back down for a few moments. I fell down once in a cafe. Abilify is really working for me so I want to learn to deal with this side effect.
Anyone else get this from their meds and know any methods for dealing with it?
TIA.

I've had it happen to me before. The first thing that doctors usually recommend is standing/sitting up slowly (any position change, really) if you know you're going to get lightheaded. If that doesn't work, let your doctor know. Maybe he/she can adjust the timing or space the dosing out to cut down on side effects.
