i start a bipolarII study on Monday. it last almost a year and i am paid for it. i know my meds aren't working now and i've been wanting to try lithium. that is one of the drugs they will use in a blind study. my head isn't right and i know something is going on that i need to do something about. wish me luck.

good luck anyone ever been in a clinical drug study?
my father has been on lithium for over 20yrs now and still doing fine so hope it is as gd for you

not only do i get paid for every appt., but psych counseling is free and after the study, i get my pick of Pdocs at $30 an hour session!!!!!!!!!!!!! woooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo. and of course all the meds are free.

I would have been interested in participating in a study in the past, when no drug seemed to work.

Is it a new drug?

This is a great thing to participate in to improve the options out there with mental illness. Welldone.

And good luck with the treatment.

I have never participated in a clinical study, but I hope that this works out well for you! It sounds as though it has some good perks!!

Pat, I think it sounds like a good thing. I have never participated in a clinical drug study, but it sounds like a good idea! I hope it works for you. Good luck and best wishes to you!

the meds are all established meds. no new ones.....i'm more comfortable with that... anyone ever been in a clinical drug study?
