It takes every bit of life out of me and turns me into a zombie. I feel hopeless. Has anyone else had this experience. I really feel at the end of my rope with medications.

Ugh. I mean ZyPrexa. I can't even think right.

When I first started taking the drug it was sedating. As my body adjusted to it that side effect gradually wore off, and it became motivating.

How much are you taking? What are you taking it for?

I started at 5mg, then went to 10 and now am at 15.

I take it for anxiety and severe depression.

Maybe the dosage is too high. I only took 5 mg and found it quite sedating.

Is it meant to boost an antidepressant?

Yes, I think it is meant to boost the antidepressant.

Perhaps, you can try a lower dose for a period of time and see how your body adjusts to it. You could also try another antipsychotic.

I've gone back down to 10mg and I'm feeling a lot less drowsy. I'll go back up to the 15 in a week or so.
