So it's SUPER hard to get in with him...I've even gone inpatient in order to get meds changed because I couldn't get in with anyone.

So...I had an appointment scheduled for yesterday. And Wednesday night I went to the ER with extreme abdominal pain...and they admitted me on Thursday because they found something, but didn't quite know what it is. So I'm still here (and will be at least through Monday). So I had to cancel my appointment. Rescheduled...but now it's not until December 12th.

I called and talked to my case manager and told her that I had enough meds to get through this week. She said they hadn't recieved papers from the hosptial yet so they wouldn't even be able to prescribe my meds/refills based on what I tell them...this really sucks. I think my meds are actually working.

I hope my GP can/will prescribe them for me in the meantime...or I am totally screwed...

Yeah, my current pdoc is hard to get in to see too. Usually 3 mos. My last pdoc always figured a way to get me in--even if he had to stay late or see me on a saturday. I miss that.....D.

The good thing about ENGLAND is if you have a shrink and your in trouble, you can see him or another the same day if you ring at the hospital. The bad thing is there all crap

thanks for your input. I should probably call my GP today and see if they can do that for me. I'm so tired, and hurting (still in the hospital)...awaiting for the doctors to come get me for a biopsy of tissue in my abdomen.

Good luck to you on your biopsy. I know hospitals seem so slow sometimes. Hope you get good results, too.

thanks. yeah...seems like it's taking FOREVER. I was in the ER Wednesday night, and got admited on Thursday - so this is my fifth day in the hospital. They seem like they are in no rush.

SOMETIMES its a relief to be in general hospital when you have health probs, I remember when I was in for stomach ops , it was cool and I made friends an felt safe that the pain was controlled . SO CHIN UP AND TRY TO RELAX
