I was going to a place in my little town called the CHAS clinic; I was seeing a psychiatrist there who prescribed me meds. I also had a physician there who didn't know what she was doing so I asked for another physician but they couldn give me one, so I started going to another clinic. but then i could no longer see the psychiatirist there. My current doctor was prescribing my meds for a while, then i was able to find another place where I could get counseling and see a psych for my meds. But they have rule: they are only allowed to see you for about 6 months, then they cut you off and you have to go back to your physician for the meds. So I talked to my doc and he prescribed some to me, but he kept telling me that he couldnt keep doing that anymore. I went back to the other place for a while, but they ended up cutting me off b4 they were supposed this time. My only option now is to go back to the chas clinic and i hate them!

it is such as shame that you cant find a consistent place to get your medication. it is so frustrating. I go to the same clinic, but have been thru like nine pdocs as they keep changing on me so have a small idea of what you are going thru. I am sorry that this is so difficult for you but admire the fact that you keep going. keep up the good work.

What were you seeing the physician for at the CHAS clinic? I'd tell the psychiatrist there my problems with the physician and see if he could prescribe whatever you need for physical problems and keep telling the clueless physician "I'm fine this visit, thanks for asking"
