Well my doc put my on 25mg of Zoloft initially because I hadn't had a good time while on Lexapro, but after 3 three weeks I had absolutely no bad side effects so we're bumping me up. Tomorrow I start taking 50 mg and she told me if everything is going well to go up to 75 the next week. I see her the week after that and she says her goal is to have me up to 100 mg.
Is there anything I should expect? I mean I didn't feel any bad side effects at 25 but it's still possible I will when I go to a higher does right?
I've got plenty of xanax so if I do get real jittery I can deal with it. I just hope this can help me be happy. I really do...

I can't really comment on side effects because Zoloft made me extremely manic but if you do have any side effects be sure to let your doctor know and keep track of them. I know Zoloft is supposedly very good for OCD (I see from your sig you're dealing with that) It seems to be going well for you and I hope it continues to do so

Hi,

I feel that it’s just anxiety which causes doubting and worrying, wondering what to expect and the jittery feeling. And you have already experienced so much fret at your young age, so it’s natural to be discouraged and unhappy with this in mind. Perhaps, there is no need for you to “watch out” as your doc is on spot with what she is doing, which, by the way, is very well at determining what is best with your treatment plan and prescribed meds. Please don’t be shy and do feel comfortable to ask her lots of questions and get details as you please; that’s what your doc is there for, you. It is possible that managing your meds may be a fluctuating course for both you and doc; however, expect for the course to mark progressive improvement and please live within the moment, which helps to barricade those hopeless feelings that will lead you to anxiety conditions; don't want that! Stay focused!

100mg is pretty standard for Zoloft , Lexapro is stronger than( Zoloft )if people on citalopram20mg lexapro older brother they would only need 10mg Lexapro to be he same strength. You may get side effects in the sex department ie hard to orgasm but then again maybe not, if you haven't had many side effects up to yet you should be ok.

100 mg. is fairly standard dosage, 300mg. is the high max dosage. So you should be fine.

All SSRIs make me manic to some degree, they are not for me I guess. Everready bunny on steroids is not a good thing.

READ THIS TOOK OF THE LABEL ???????Initial dose: 50 mg orally once a day.
Increase dose by 50 mg increments no more often than weekly.
Maintenance Dose: Can increase once a week, to a maximum of 200 mg once a day.
People do take 300mg but not advised , wrong info is worse than bad info
