I've stopped my medications as I'm participating in a clinical study for depression and that was one of the requirements. I used to take 900mgs of Gabapentin daily as a mood stabilizer. It used to relax me and without it I wake up multiple times throughout the night. Other than that, I'm not feeling too bad, so I guess the Prozac I've been taking for six months wasn't doing much for me. Has anyone else been involved in any research studies with good or bad results?

just years of experience in every metal health issue . you name it I have been through it, flat line , drinking, suicide attempt a real one not cry for help. HOSPITALS , CBT crap, therapy took myself out. Taken most meds except antiphycotics am BIPOLAR but don't take BIPOLAR meds found my own med intake with years of experience with trials . SO payment mmmmmmm Im better than most shrinks , at least I have been through it not read it in books. I still have a mental appointment at the hospital every six months, a formality really if I need a new med I tell them, if they have it they give it me, if they don't I go to the GP he gives it me, NOBODY but yourself knows your own body after 40 years, SHRINKS are a joke they forget you 2 seconds after you walk out the door

Yes, that's why I'm really doing it, because I need the cash for a new job I'm starting and if I complete the entire study it comes out to around $1600.00.
