My psychiatrist recommended Haldol prn for anger...anyone still taking this old neuroleptic? I've tried it once and it worked wonders for irritability!

I never heard of antipsychotics being used for anger. Is the anger you feel similar to psychomotor agitation? When I get this I want to violently explode for no reason. Drugs like this work wonders for that.

Yes, exactly like psychomotor agitation! I haven't used that term forever...I get that way at times so my psychiatrist prescribed some Haldol for those episodes. It does calm me down greatly and rapidly!
