I my sons mother-in-law was sectioned under the mental health act, she lived alone in her apartment that was a scene of nightmares , a rubbish tip looked cleaner .She locked the doors and closed the curtains a would not let anyone in. Never took her meds and became completely mad. she was dragged kicking and screaming on section lock down, refused to wash and change he cloths. 1 WEEK on she moved to a ward with other patients , she is dressed to perfection and clean has a whistle. At dinner time she is aloud to go down in the main hospital with her daughter to costa coffee for a chat she has apologised for anything she has done to upset the girls. Now all this has happened since she has been watched over while she takes her meds. So all this change is down to a med routine nothing more nothing less. She is chronicly ill and need meds to live, I don't know what her meds are but they sure work . They are looking now to get her in sheltered housing so she is seen to take her meds every day and live a near normal life
