My doctor told me when i am premenopausal lamictal dosage needs to be decreased. I asked why and he said the body needs less lamitcal in menopause or premenopause. I then asked what happens to the brain or body if you dont reduce the lamictal in premonopause. He said it does nothing. That is not an answer as far as i am concerned. Anyone have a better answer?

I'm guessing that Michanne is correct. I do think you should ask your doc to clarify, though. I so wish doctors would be more clear more often.
