Hi guys, I don't know where to post this...sorry.

They all look so shady and I was just wondering if anyone could vouch for one or had any advice about them in general?

Is there somewhere I could send medication to be tested to ensure it was what it said on the box?

Thanks!

You'd have to test it every time and given the extra cost would it be worth it? I don't know the answer to that. Is a 3 month or mail order out of the question?

I wouldn't trust it.....what is wrong with regular physical pharmacies? Not to mention even if there are legit ones...you'd have to wait for your meds in the mail, they might somehow get lost in the mail or end up damaged somehow and it could be a real hassle trying to get prescriptions refilled and there may even be shipping and handling charges. Just does not seem practical in any way to me seems like it would be easier and cheaper to just go to the pharmacy.
Thanks for this!

Use one that your insurance company approves. If you are trying to buy something without a prescription, my advice is, don't. If you know other people who use one for your type of meds, ask them which they use, etc.

Ok thanks...I already know it's stupid, I guess at the time I was just hoping there was one out there. Ok so when I said meds...I actually was talking about a particular pain killer I have an addiction to and can't get anymore. I got desperate. I am desperate. My actual meds that I need I go through gp and normal chemist etc...

Sorry I mislead you

I am on a diet, have given up smoking and now trying to quit the pain killers. It's just so hard. I just wonder why the hell I should even bother giving all these things up, sure I will live longer but for what exactly? Why not die younger and happy?

Sorry, just struggling right now, nothing is making sense to me at the minute....

Thanks. Just really tough. Thing is, I quit one drug not so long ago but then went back to pain killers. It's all so so much to do at one time. I was told I was setting myself up for failure doing it all at once but I am a kind of all or nothing girl.

Just have to get on with it I guess....

Pain killers are a common every day med people take for granted , I mean 1200 mg Ibuprofen a day for arthritis is the max on the packet , but if people are in pain who can say what they take its over the counter meds , I take too much but hey it dulls the pain for another day, tramadol soon gets control of you , has does many scripted pain killers. GOOD LUCK on you mission

The reason tramadol is popular is it calms you down and dulls the pain, that's the med that gave me seratonin syndrome when in hospital after an operation, I dont no how much they gave me , it was when I came off morphine so I bet it was a lot. ITS on my records now not to give me again

Well I was never prescribed it but took it once for pain. my hubby has a script and have been taking them off him. Sometimes he doesn't even know but now he wont give me anymore. He doesn't take them every day so has some spare. I was also getting them from a friend and at one time was taking 1000mg a day. I got it down to 300mg a day but now it's 0mg a day. I crave them so badly. I see in other countries they have proper help for this but I can't find the same help over here in the UK. I went to Addaction and their advice was to stop taking them for a week and they would put me on an opiate blocker. Well that doesn't really help me. I just don't know what to do. I am just hoping I can't get my hands on any and slowly the cravings will go away But then, I will find something else like I always do...I am a fully fledged junkie

Have you tried alanon? No matter how hard it seems now so long as you stay off of them the discomfort will pass. Having people around who have been in the same boat would really help.

I to am from England , you don't get any help with self inflicted addiction, we are left to sort out our own mess, its like ok you got that way now don't come moaning to us. They have a point but it don't make it any easier.
Thanks for this!

No I haven't .....what is it?

Thank you, yes I think that would really help to be around others with same problems. I have been on various drugs since the age of 16, I am now nearly 33. Tremadol is something I've flirted with for years when I wasn't able to get chosen drug and now it's a problem for me again. I can't handle life sober.

No it doesn't make it any easier. I just wish I could live life without drugs, pain killers or anything at all. Life is too tough to be straight.

Actually I remembered the name wrong... Narcotics anonymous. Like aa but for drugs. I don't think you are handling life on drugs very well they could help.

Thanks! If it's like the aa and a group thing, don't think it's for me. I am seeing an organisation called 'Addaction' but so far it hasn't been a success. They wont give me the opiate blocker (which they also said will help with cravings) until I have been off them for one week. I have been able to get a few so that isn't going very well. I really am trying....it's just very difficult. I wish someone could just knock me out for a few days to get them out of my system so I can go on these blockers Addaction want to give me. I am so weak!

I mentioned the na group more for people support and it is free. I am not a big fan of 12 step programs but maybe just going there and talking to people that understand would be helpful. You indicate not being able to get through one week. It could be any peer support. They are just the best organized.
