That would be okay to do, right. I've accidentally been taking a double dose at night, so now I can't refill it. Just thinking of stopping it. Sick of calling my pdoc/medication changes. Hope he won't be ticked off. I suppose I should call, but I don't want to.

You doctor should have samples. It is a med that samples are pretty common for. Maybe he/she can help you out.

Or he could just call in a new script, if he really wants me to stay on it.

If you are wanting insurance to pay for it though, they probably won't if you went through the last prescription before it was really due to be refilled. That's why I suggested samples. If insurance isn't an issue, yes, a new prescription should do the trick.

Please don't stop any medication abruptly. You could potentially be setting yourself up for pain. If you want to do so, do it slowly and with caution.
