Hello. First post.. hope I'am in the right area. My apologies if I am not. I start my first depression medication or any mental health med for that matter ever, tomorrow, Brintellix. Though I do have depression, I was wondering if anyone is aware if it will help with my extreme irritability. I didn't think to ask my Dr. as I was seeing him because I thought I had ADD and he diagnosed me with depression, so my mind was a bit scrambled at the time. I know this is a new drug and still a little obscure but any info on irritability with this Brintellix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I see now that it is new. Here is one link to a site about it: Brintellix oral : Uses, Side Effects, Interactions, Pictures, Warnings & Dosing - WebMD

I see it can actually cause irritability.
Thanks for this!
