I am starting to take VYTORAN tonight for my Cholestrol. I had labs done 2 wks ago and the results were very bad. So now my Dr put me on this medication. The insurance wouldn't cover it, because the cost was $173.00 for 30 days worth. When my Dr called me I was very upset when he gave me the news. I went in to the Drs office and signed a release so they could fax over my labs to the Insurance company. Wouldn't ya know it I guess the results were bad enough for them to change there minds.

Any way, this is about VYTORAN. If any of you take it or have taken it, Can you please fill me in on any problems or good things that have happened to you since you have been on it.

Thank you so much!!!

NP = No Problem

And NO - I have not gained any extra weight while taking this medicine..... a medicine I will probably have to take a low dose of for the rest of my life - due to the fact that my body naturally makes more cholesterol than I need.

Yeah that's what my Dr said to me. I have extremely high Cholesterol. I'm really scared because both my mom and dad both died of Heart Attacks. Mom had other Complications as well. My dad was 37 and my mom was 68. So I am at High Risk for Heart Disease. I changed my diet I did a complete 180 so to speak. Well I hope that works Does anyone take VYTORAN? I hate to exercise. A gym is not my friend Does anyone take VYTORAN? Weights yeah right Does anyone take VYTORAN? But now I am doing the exercise bike, walking and eating right. I need to lose about 70 lbs to be at a healthy weight. I say it took me 33 years to put it on, I hope it takes me less to take it off Does anyone take VYTORAN?

Hang in there....... YOU can do IT!!!

My Cholesterol used to be at 394 and now it is at 220... just a little more to go.

AND - I personally lost 75 pounds in nine months, and that was with me eating 3 healthy meals and 1 snack per day - walking the lake 2 times a week and working out with free weights 3 times a week.
