I told the story of my next door buddy , well he took bad in his holiday caravan by the sea, his stress buster. The took him to the nearest hospital that could not cope with his breakdown, he was blue lighted back to our home town MENTAL HOSPITAL , They gave him ECT but forgot he had a metal plate in his jaw from 1 off his many street fights , he near on blew up the treatment room. SO that was not an option so they tried him on a 3 combo with a anti phycotic , 10 weeks lay on his back not wanting to do anything but die , the prized out of him he had never finished a med trail and given up after 3 week and went back to drink has his self med. The HOSPITAL were changing his meds rapid looking for a glimmer of hope, then highest dose of Effexor , plus highest mirtazapine, and a anti phy I cannot spell. They told him to get out of bed has his disc,s in his back were in danger of collapse .This is the miracle HE is home now after day release trails now back permanent , I hear him singing and laughing I thing I haven't heard for 2 years . SO med do work if you do the trails , he is alive again all be 3 stone heaver that he don't care about he is happy. Of course he still gets down days but faces them full on . I proud of him he needed a kick up the bum and he got it.

thanks he was getting near the end, he never told me he aborted the trails, he was so far gone the side effects flattened him. But the docs kept him in hospital to make certain he took his meds. They told him if he didn't want help LEAVE NOW . They were changing some meds weekly has he slumped father in despair. But they maxed him out on 3 meds faster than they should and it payed off
