My Pdoc weighs me and checks my BP at every appointment. This is monthly and she has been doing it for a few years. I am overweight but she doesn't harp on it.

My apologies for this post. My P'doc has not weighed me. But a P'docs decision to do that would be on a needs basis. I know that he does weigh some of his clients due to their diagnosis. Eg Eating Disorders

Mine weighs me every time, but I think it's because I'm rapidly losing weight and he wants to keep tabs on that. I'm not sure everyone gets the same treatment. It doesn't seem like it.
I always have my blood pressure, pulse, and weight checked before my pdoc appointments. I can understand not wanting to get on a scale, but starving yourself is not a good idea, I should know because I'm doing it right now, and I know how bad it is for me. Just say, "I don't want to be weighed" if they ask you to get on a scale. They can't force you.
