Has anyone tried any of the legal smoke online for relaxation? My therapist told me to drink some kind of cammomile tea, what is the difference between smoking kava kava blends and drinking tea? I am looking for some relief from sudden anxiety. Any thoughts? Oh yeah, I am a recovering addict/alcoholic. Thanks in advance

smoking tends to kill you whereas drinking tea doesn't seem to have that unsavoury consequence.
smoking is bad because smoke is bad for our lungs (and so forth). while 'herbal' type cigarettes might not have all the nasty chemicals that ordinary cigarettes / mj has the smoke still contains enough nasty chemicals to negatively impact on your health. |

Personally, I have not found the legal smoking options to produce much of a calming effect at all. For me, sometimes tea will take the edge off a very slight bit. I've heard tinctures (especially those made from some of the legal smoking options) can work well for some. But they might be risky, considering your background, due to some of the other effects they can cause. I've never found anything legal that really produces a sincere relaxation (in an immediate sort of way) other than what comes off a prespcription pad. And of course, I'm obligated to say smoking is bad for you (I'm a smoker). PM me if you want more info. on my experiences with relaxation remedies. Good luck.

I've heard that even the "herbal" cigs have nasty ____ in them (I'm assuming you aren't talking about weed).
