I'm taking Abilify and Seroquel. Since I've started Abilify, I realized that I cant sit still. I always have to move. It's really hard for me to sit still at work. I also want to hurt myself more Like cutting or overdosing. Is it a side effect? Is there anything I can do to minimize it??

I've been on Abilify for 10 years. restlessness in a common side effect. Not sure about the self-injury though.

I had no problems with Abilify at all! For your anxiety, Buspar, obviously any benzo would help and Neurontin or Nefazodone work wonders! Best of luck!

I took it for a year with no side effects. It didn't do anything good or bad. 10 mg. sounds like akathisia to me which is common with AP's and AAP's but that would not explain the self harm thing.

Akathisia can definitely cause self-injury urges.
