Latuda is the best ATAS I have been on for major depression. I have lost 18 pounds of the 30 I gained on Zyprexa. I am losing about 2 pounds per month without trying. The Latuda is also working great with no side effects, with the exception of some insomnia, which I take 25 mgs. of benadryl for at bedtime. I take 20 mgs. of Latuda and also take 50 mgs. of Pristiq ER.

Sarika, I was not able to send you a private message, so I hope you see this.

Thanks for this!

Hi NancyB,

I take 40 mg of Latuda and 100 mg of Pristiq ER. I'm a 200 LB, 6 ft. male, but have been on this dosage over a year now. How long have you been on on your regimen? I'm thinking of adding Lamictal to the mix, as my cocktail may be losing some of its efficacy. But I will say, it was great initially for me. Any insight?

Thanks!

Hey, Latuda worked pretty good for me but only at 120mg! Also, I take Lamictal at 600mg since at that dose it has anti-depressant properties. If you gain weight on Pristiq or inhanced Effexor, I prefer Fetzima by a long shot! But all those have helped my bipolar depression, but it's all about finding the right dose and med cocktail. Btw, Lithium is very effective for augmenting ADs as well...good luck!
