Hi , if you were on both these as some stage , which had the best antipsychotic properties and which one did you tolerate better. Im looking for your experience while taking both meds.

I prefer Seroquel since I can sleep soundly, except tonight, with it and I don't get hungry on it. Saphris made me too hungry! Best of luck!

I would go with Saphris, although it tastes like crap. But I think Seroquel is a dangerous drug, mainly because AstraZeneca lied about the results from the clinical trials... thus resulting in a class action lawsuit.
Who knows what else they lied about.

I am skinny, but I gained a ton of weight on Seroquel without eating anything more. Also I got the "Seroquel gut" which sucked. Read about Seroquel before deciding to use that medication.

Saphris tastes like crap, but it helped my mania. It did not seem strong enough and I am on something else. I lost all my Seroquel weight and Seroquel gut on Saphris. I wasn't hungry,, it seemed normal to me.

I think Seroquel is a more powerful drug, but more serious side-effects that need to be taken into account.

Why only those two for choices? There are other drugs with less dangerous side effects that are also slightly more powerful.

Seroquel lowered my blood pressure dangerously, but that's a pretty rare side-effect and my doctor considers it the "first-choice" anti-psychotic.
