i recently started taking cytomel and since i started I have random fevers, and am not sleeping. It is hard to tell if it is the meds or ont though because of timing, but has anyone else had such sideeffects?

After my next round of tests, my endocrinologist said we'll try adding this along with my Synthroid, cause so far the Synthroid needs a little "help".
I hope it will help.
Do you think your reaction(s) were due to dosage amount?

Just was prescribed 5mcg along with my Synthroid 75mcg, one of the nodules have decreased possible helped from increased Synthroid, but now 2 new nodules have errupted. Cytomel
Since your last post, has Cytomel been of help?
The T3/T4 combo makes sense to me, but will not know, I guess for a couple of weeks?
Anyone else here, take this med?

Larry or Cam,
Is it possible in only a week's time I'm feeling some relief in my fatigue, on Cytomel along with the Synthroid I've been on?
So far I'm a teeny less tired, but it's only a week now, think I'll feel even better after a 2-3 week run of it? Cytomel
The combo is 5mcg Cytomel and 75mcg Synthroid (T3/T4 regime)
I still take 2x 18mg of Concerta and total of 150mg of Lamictal, which has been a few years now, so I am assuming the positive, physical effects must be coming from the Cytomel. Hope it's not just due from "power of suggestion".
Any input would be most appreciated, thanks in advance. Cytomel

I believe that you could easily be feeling some changes after one week on Cytomel. If your feeling of relief is in fact due to the hormone, then I would also expect a greater improvement. Moreover, as the hormone is largely protein bound (i.e. soaked up by sponge-like proteins in the blood plasma, providing moderation in concentration changes, but also reserves after the fact), the effects would relatively long-lasting.

I'm happy for you.

Thanks so much for replying. I hope my weight will start returning to my usual, as I continue to feel improvment.
My lack of exercise came along as I had started to feel more and more lousy.
With fingers cross, I'll regain my general health, hope the new nodules shrink too, I'll find out after my next (repeat) ultrasound of my thyroid in the Spring.
Thanks again, you are terrific and I appreciate all that you contribute here. Cytomel

That's sweet of you to say. Thank you.

How are you doing this week?

If I can offer some advice: Be gentle, but push.
