I take Risperdal 3mg for the voices in my head and it subdued them mostly, the most notable side effect is the drowsiness and weakness. I'm tired all the time, I feel so weak that I often walk and move slightly sluggish and I sometimes drool if I don't catch myself.
Anyone else have these side effects? If so what did you do to curb them? Energy drinks helps me somewhat to get my energy levels back up but I don't want to be dependent on them? Should I consult with my doctor about this? |

latuda is a antipsychotic as well. things like nuvigil, ritalin, and adderall can increase psychotic symptoms

On rare occasions first generation antipsychotics have also caused psychotic episodes in patients. Latuda is a very effective AAP.

Those are all very common side-effects of Risperdal. If you've been on it long enough to adjust (at least a month or so) and you're not feeling any better then you might want to consider switching to one of the less sedating AAPs, like Abilify or Latuda.
