I'm wondering if anyone gets random "brain shivers" even if they have taken their effexor on schedule? For the last two days I've had very mild shivers towards the evening. Does anyone know of anything that helps them?

still i rise, Hello. I've been on Effexor XR, but did not have these symptoms. Give your doctor or pharmacist a call if this does not go away within a few days.

I've been on Effexor XR and have never experienced this. I agree with calling your Dr. or pharmacist if it persists.

Strange. That sounds like withdrawal symptoms, even though you're taking it on schedule. I agree with the others. Call your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep us posted, too.

I had something like this happen to me on Effexor, I had random brain zaps (that is what I would call them). I had them especially while withdrawing from the medication. Effexor for me was hell to come off of and I regret ever taking it.

Thanks, everyone.

I will let my doctor know and keep you all updated. I know that withdrawal symptoms are quick to happen if I don't take it 'on time' or if I somehow miss a dose, but the random brain shivers/zaps also happen a lot. The only thing I can think of is that I'm out of my iron rx right now, so maybe that has something to do with it?
