OK, med number 2, Geodon. It doesn't make me sick, woo-hoo! But, my hands are shaking and last night, I was twitching a little in my neck and my legs. So, what are people's experience with Geodon? I have only been taking it for 6 days and only 20mg. I am anxious today and have been flying around the house, doing all sorts of chores. I didn't expect the med to work right away so I'm not surprised that I'm wound up but I also didn't expect to be shaking either. Any feedback?

I have not experienced this from the geodon that I take.

Have you called your pdoc about this?
I don't think the dose is high enough to off set the hypomania you are experiencing..and probably the reason you were put on it in the first palce.
I think the dose needs to be increased to nip this.

Geodon is very activating at low doses, and can make people hypomanic. When this happens the dose need to be increased to 80 mg or more.

I had the opposite reaction to Geodon,but I don't recall what dosage I was on. I had incredible dizziness & sleepiness on Geodon--I fell asleep at work & while driving. Was only on it 4 days & couldn't take the side effects, but I have heard from other people that it works great for them. All meds seem to have different effects on people.--Suzy

Geodon didn't do a thing for me, good, bad or otherwise -- it just plain didn't work. I hope you get some relief soon, though!
