Good morning. I have been on Wellbutrin now about a 1.5 months almost. I also started lexapro a week before the Wellbutrin. They are having me slowly come off Lexapro due to RLS and it makes it worse. All I know is I'm hungry ALL the time. It's crazy. Usually for sweets but it's the middle of the night and first thing when I get up. Has anyone else had this side effect with Wellbutrin? It's odd bc it DOES give me more energy and a little boost to get up and do stuff. But I'm going to be packing on the pounds here soon. Just wondering if it's that or possibly Lexapro which I'll be done taking in a week or so. Thanks!!

Actually, if it is a drug causing it, then I would lean toward the Lexapro. I think Wellbutrin is more weight neutral.

I took Wellbutrin for a couple of years in the past and started back on it about four months ago. It has never increased my appetite. I took the generic version of Lexapro and it fiercely messed up my stomach. Then again, I have ulcerative colitis so it doesn't take much to go there.

I tried Rispiridol once, and it made my breasts a full cup bigger, I was lactating, and my periods gone - no chance of pregnancy. Seems this drug does this sort of thing to many people - almost like a mild case of puberty - recall that, when you had this huge appetite and sexual dreams. All that can happen on this drug.

I would guess it's Lexapro. When I took Lexapro it made me extremely hungry all the time for any kind of food. Wellbutrin did the opposite, it suppressed my appitite.
