Anyone use naturopathic remedies for fluid retention? I think most of the weight gain from the olanzapine is fluid as I have puffy ankles at the end of the day and look 6 months pregnant. This is partly due to my dicky heart which is not quite bad enough to operate on yet. What have you tried? Did they work.?

I think maybe your bad heart is the main cause of the swollen ankles. Does your doctor know about the problem with your ankles? If you have a bad heart you should be very careful using anything unless you have cleared it with your doctor.

I agree with jelly-bean that talking with your doctor about this is a good idea.

Olanzapine may not be indicated for people with heart problems and it may interact in a negative way with "naturopathic" substances.
