I started saphris 5mg a week ago and I have noticed after a few days of being happy and everything I went into a more depressed state but my mood is the same but I feel depressed. Is this normal starting out? I take pristiq to. I'm thinking after 2 years of pristiq the pristiq might not be working? Am I just getting use to saphris?

It is probably just that your body is adjusting to the new med. I would give it 2-3 more weeks before you get concerned and call the doctor.
