Hi,
I had psychosis last year and was put on risperidone for 6 months.Later, I was switched to amisulpride for the next 4 months.I had erectile dysfunction as a side effect. Now, I am just on ambien and vitamin tablets. But this side effect still remains. My doc told me that it is psychological now as the side effect causing meds have been removed. Has anyone experienced this ?

Regards,
Nash

I've never had any problems with that personally, the only thing related is the drive isn't always there when i was on things like amisulpride, risperidone. Depends what meds i've been on, find no problems with seroquel though, providing i take them after. Otherwise im asleep.

Perhaps a complete physical check up is necessary?

Seeking a specialist could also help?

I'd err in agreement with the doctor, that the meds are no longer in your system. How often is your ambien use?

I have been on ambien for the last six months and I take it every night

Here's the complete list of meds I am taking currently
Agomelatine 25 mg
ambien 2.5 mg
Seroquel 50 mg

It's been over a month since amisulpride was withdrawn. My prolactin levels dropped to normal.
