I tapered off Zoloft and went on Viibryd (3weeks now) and I still have a constant headache.

How long has anyone else suffered through side effects of changing meds? How long before they go away? I don't know how long I should wait and expect them to last before I call my pdoc. The new drug has really helped my mood but I can't deal with headache long term.

I would be looking for at least some improvement in that whole time.

It widely varies from drug to drug. When I first went on Saphris, it made me really sleepy and it took a couple of months for my body to adjust and then the raised the dosage and here I am again going out like a light after 15 minutes. But the Fetzima side effects went away fairly quickly. I would talk to my doctor about the headaches, as those would be hard to ignore.

Side effects in my case lasted for couple of weeks then slowly faded away. You should call your pdoc if they don't go within 2-4 weeks I guess.
